GNSS/INS Software Engineer

 

You will be responsible for developing new and enhancing existing positioning software solutions. Success in this position involves working effectively in the development team with other experts, and demonstrating a set of fundamental software engineering skills that result in predictability in engineering, scheduling and the quality of products developed.

 

Key Responsibilities are:

  • Development towards a robust and reliable positioning solution targeting automobiles using GNSS, MEMS based IMU, odometry and magnetometer sensors with the final goal to provide a positioning solution in the context of autonomous driving
  • Integration of the positioning library into receiver firmware, providing interface functionality by creating code on the calling part and the called library part of the positioning engine

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Editing and revising detailed technical design documents to accurately describe the components to be developed
  • Explain and document major design decisions and their rationale to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Being able to work effectively as part of a development team with minimal supervision; work on all other software development tasks as assigned

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • University degree with focus on navigation using inertial and GNSS sensors
  • Excellent experience in C++ and Matlab
  • Passion for object-oriented design and clean code as efficient means to port your ideas to successful products
  • Excellent English language proficiency
  • Ability to adapt well to changing priorities in a fast-paced development environment
  • Preferably multi-year experience in navigation with IMU sensors and precision positioning related GNSS software development, preferable in the area of RTK and/or PPP
  • Preferably experience in development of embedded real-time applications.
